Additional podcasts on Spiritual Inspirations and Personal Growth
What we see and believe is shaped by the lessons we have been taught and the experiences we have lived.
But true reality lies beyond the boundaries of our personal lens.
You see, we all live in an invisible prison that we have accepted as “truth”. If we are willing to look beyond those invisible boundaries that we have accepted for ourselves we come closer to a higher level of actuality. Fear and closed mindedness are the only things holding us back from becoming a greater version of ourselves.
We grow when we continually challenge those boundaries, when we push ourselves to greater heights, when we open our minds and expand our expectations. If we do this we will find that the world around us is much larger and more beautiful that we could have otherwise ever imagined!
To understand the world more fully, we must step outside our own stories, question our assumptions, what we have been taught and embrace perspectives that challenge our own. Only then can we glimpse a broader truth and reality.
Consider a man with a home with a large window and the view out that window is a majestic mountain range. A truly breathtaking view. Having never ventured outside his home he would argue that his view was the most beautiful view in the world. One day a friend stopped by and after much debate and persuasion he convinced the man to step out onto his front patio. When the man did and looked to the left (beyond the view from his window), he saw a gorgeous pristine lake with crystal clear water surrounded by towering pine trees and his mountains in the distance. All it took was for the man to view life through a different perspective. What he thought was the most beautiful view in the world was only a small portion of the beauty all around it.
Take a moment today to listen, to open your mind and expand your view beyond the invisible boundaries that you have accepted as your reality.
Ask questions, reflect, read, research, explore and expand your understanding.
If you do this your life will be enriched. Your understanding broadened. Your perspective will be expanded and a whole new world will be opened up to you.
You are the only one hold yourself back from seeing beyond your own “reality”!
You will marvel at what you see!
