How do you read hundreds of books while multi-tasking doing others things? Answer: Audio books (and if you have an iPhone, the “Spoken Content” feature). Audible has literally hundreds of titles available that you can listen to while doing other things like driving to work, running errands, doing housework or yard work. This is all potentially productive time that you might be wasting while saying that you don’t have time to read! Did you know that you iPhone can speak written content to you? This is true for books too! I have read (listened to) hundreds of books that are not audio books while I was engaged in other activities simply by having the Spoken Content feature read them to me. Here is a simple guide on how to set up Spoken Content if you have an iPhone. I highly recommend that you download the voice “Alex” as it is the most natural voice. It may take a little getting used to but once you adjust to it, I believe that you will find this feature extremely convenient and will allow you to multi-task while your iPhone reads any written content to you. Scroll to the bottom of my Book Recommendations page and you will find a pdf document with screenshots detailing how to set-up the Spoken Content feature and player on your iPhone.
Enjoy!
